Allergen-Barrier Bedding Trades in Whites for Colors To Marry Function with Style

American Textile Company has introduced the Aller Ease (www.aller-ease.com) Color Comforter Collection, bringing style to high-performance allergen-barrier bedding that dresses the top of the bed and works with basic bedding to create a fresher, cleaner sleeping environment. The Aller Ease Color Comforters, available in ivory, black and blue, and matching shams help prevent allergens such as dust mites, pollen, pet dander and other particles from collecting in your bedding and triggering allergy or asthma symptoms. Basic bedding and allergen-barrier comforters and duvets are typically available only in white, a limiting décor choice for the one out of four Americans who suffer from allergies. And, with more than 50 percent of homes having more than six detectable allergens, allergen-barrier bedding that offers a touch of style to the bedroom is a welcome introduction. “Allergen-barrier bedding is a necessity for anyone who suffers from allergies or wants a fresher bed, but there’s no reason to sacrifice style for solution,” said Mette Odom, vice president of marketing at American Textile Company, whose core Aller Ease allergen-barrier products include mattress and pillow encasements, pillows and comforters. “The Aller Ease Color Comforter Collection is the perfect coordinate to allergen-barrier basic bedding, blocking allergy triggers and ensuring a more restful sleep,” Odom said. The Aller Ease Color Comforters are available in twin through king sizes and feature soft, microfiber fabric with a tonal-embossed strip and a three-inch gusset on the side for a sumptuous feel. The comforter is filled with hypoallergenic polyester fiber and has a sewn-through design that maintains an even distribution of fill and prevents cold spots.
